Yes, I'm finally here. It's been an interesting few months in the womb. Right now I'm feeling a little waterlogged and uncoordinated, but everyone so far is of the opinion that this will change.
I want to say that I was very pleased to finally meet my mother although we have spoken several times in the past. It was hard to hear her before, but I'd know her voice anywhere. Same for my Papa. He is a big guy and already he and I have established the bonding of the male thing. He changed my diaper and believe me I'd do the same for him, if the need arose.
I met one set of grandparents yesterday, Grandma Lannie and Grandpa Merle. I have to say that the baby talk thing with Grandma Lannie isn't exactly macho, but hey, I'm just a baby and babies like that kind of goo-goo accompanied by especially goofy facial expressions. It's what finally gets us to smile and laugh.
Grandpa Merle had to build up a big pile of nerve before he could hold me, but again, I felt a slight tingle of male bonding going on there....
Can't wait to meet other extended family members so I can show off my really cute self!
